Eagle House is the perfect landing spot for a big group. Centrally located in the town of Lake Leelanau, you are in the heart of everything. Eagle House offers plenty of privacy, seclusion, and space! This home is situated on 6+ acres and surrounded by towering trees and private hiking trails.
Eagle House has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths sleeps up to 14, (and is also a wonderful home for smaller groups!) with all but the 5th bedroom having a full bath. The bedrooms consist of 1 king, 3 queens, and a twin over full bunk. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level and 2 bedrooms on the upper level. The 5th bedroom is accessed through the master suite. The master suite offers a private, full bath, king bed, large windows offering views of the woods, and a smart TV.
Step into a spacious kitchen with a dishwasher and plenty of space for meal prep. Serving a big group or need that extra space for drinks? There is an additional fridge just a few steps down on the lower level. The bright and open kitchen is set up well for cooking and entertaining, with lots of counter space and a kitchen island. Enjoy your breakfast or morning coffee at the cozy kitchen table.
In the living room enjoy a bright and open living space with smart TV over the fireplace. Walk-out French doors provide access to the back deck and patio. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at the Eagle House! We had 5 couples coming to gather to attend a wedding. Every couple had their own spacious bedroom and bathroom! The common areas were very large and perfect for us to hang out for meals. Our evenings were spent in the game room enjoying some friendly competition! Very clean, comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen! Excellent communication throughout the booking and stay. Close to Sutton’s Bay and several wineries. This house was truly perfect for our group, highly recommend!

Summary: We booked this property because it was so close to Aurora Cellars. Our daughter got married there this past weekend. It was a great place for siblings and spouses. Although I was thinking that all the bedrooms had their own room and bathroom, but the bedroom with the bunk beds were actually in the master bedroom and we had to share our bathroom with them. A little disappointing for the money we paid. Also they mowed the lawn and cleaned out the hot tub while we were staying there.

Summary: This was our 4th time staying at this house. We love it. It's clean, each couple has their own bathroom, the kitchen is well equipped, all 10 of us fit at the dining room table. We enjoyed the hot tub.

Summary: Very spacious house! Each bedroom has an attached bathroom, great hot tub and bon fire pit. We toured lots of wineries in Suttons Bay and it was the perfect landing place. We do this every year, but yhis was our first time at this house and we will definitely be back!

Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, etc. The things that are the icing on the cake. The hot tub was nice and fire pit was certainly enjoyed by all. I highly recommend this rental in a wonderfully private location, half way between Leland and Suttons Bay!

Our DIL has talked about growing up in Michigan and how she loved all the places in northern Michigan. We decided against a lake house as we had very young children in our group. This house fit all 14 of us, more or less, as some of the beds are air mattresses. We were pretty sure this house used to be a B&B based on the layout- the master suite includes a bedroom with bunk beds, so we bunked with majority of the grandkids. They house is spacious, hard floors in common areas,so sound travels well. Bedrooms are large and all have private bath except bunk room. Set in a wooded area with a large front lawn, plenty of room for kids to run around. The basement was a cornucopia of games-ping pong, air hockey, pool, foosball and even a poker table! Only complaint is the grounds could use a little TLC, lawn is very rough and shrubs could use a good trimming.

You need oil because pans are not nonstick. Keurig coffee pot and single combined model. Plenty of coffee filters there. Bags game outside and we used. Loved the basement game room. The dining room table was great with bench seating and 2 chairs. Great seating for our group of 10. They never got the TV in the living room to work. It has a software issue that keeps it from using the Apps. The grill had a bad hose and no gas. We had to buy the gas. We are suppose to be reimbursed. The hot tub was dirty when we arrived, but they did refill and restart with chemicals when we complained. Suttons Bay has a great park and beach which we enjoyed. It is 7 min away and Hansons better for groceries. Scarce parking at the Good Bay Beach and you need a sticker or National Park pass, but it was a great beach. We went to Christmas Beach and tiny lot to watch sunset and look for rocks. The group in their 30s enjoyed Sleeping Bear Dunes for the strenuous hike over the 3 big dunes to Lake Michigan. Bring at least 2 waters. Lots of great wineries! We did have wine and hear the great concert on Sunday night. We rented a pontoon boat for a week day on Lake Leelanau. The south lake calmer and north one clearer and sand bottom. We enjoyed tubing on both with it and swimming by a sand bar on the north. Even though we had a couple of issues, they really did a great job of trying to fix things. The hot tub is not senior friendly because it is hard to get in and out with no hand rails. Highly recommend this place.

Kitchen and dining area were a good size for the group. LR was a good size, sofa and love seat, could add a few chairs. Basement was excellent, everyone liked all the games downstairs, especially the guys. Nice laundry room, we did not use but could have easily used them. Kitchen was well stocked.Excellent: we noticed freezer/fridge seemed to be leaking. We called and got an immediate response, they had someone call to come repair that day, they wanted to come between 4-7, we asked them to postpone till the next day since it was the night we were all going to be at the house for dinner and it would have been quite inconvenient to have someone working on the fridge. Instead they must have changed their plans and came earlier in the day when we were out. All fixed when we came home for dinner. Kudos to them for their prompt service and consideration for our plans.You will need to bring extra toilet paper, tissues and paper towels. Per the rental agreement, starter sets are provided.Also, need more dish towels for the kitchen.Dishwashing on the final day was poorly planned. We needed to have all the dishes washed and put away before we left on Sat. morning. Normally, you must have everything in the dishwasher and running before you leave. We hand washed everything that morning. If I was the next renter I would prefer knowing that the breakfast dishes had been in the dishwasher and sterilized by the hot water. They should list the house as 4 bedroom with a kids room or they should put a door on the entrance to the master bedroom.Wi-Fi signal strength upstairs was poor.The outside furniture was extremely dirty. Would have required considerable cleanup if we wanted to sit outside, however, we didn't want to because the mosquitoes and other insects were really bad.

Summary: We were all very impressed with the property. Loved the private hiking trails, my dog enjoyed the walks in the mornings. Wifi was spotty but, we managed. Kids loved the game room great time for both children and adults.
